Object and content

These conditions apply exclusively to natural persons who act for purposes that do not fall within the scope of their commercial, industrial, artisanal or professional activity.

These general conditions will not apply if it is found that the user is not a final consumer, as defined by Decree-Law nº 24/2014, of 14 February.

Multiverse Geeks reserves the right to change these General Conditions of Contract and Use without prior notice, any changes being published on the website.

All content on the website is protected by copyright worldwide and cannot be used or reproduced, except for private purposes and for online use.

Multiverse Geeks reserves the right, at any time, to modify the information and commercial offer presented, namely on products, prices, promotions and general conditions.

The contents on the website are produced by internal and external sources, under which Multiverse Geeks is not responsible for the lack of updating, errors or inaccuracies in this information.

Prices

The prices on the website are expressed in Euros and include VAT at the legal rate in force on the date of payment of the order.

The shipping costs are added to the prices of the products, as described.

Discounts

Multiverse Geeks may carry out, under legal terms, discounts or promotional campaigns on certain items, which, when applicable, will appear on the website.

Exchanges and returns

The user of our store has 15 days from the date of receipt of the order to exchange or return the item.

We only accept returns of items in their original packaging and in perfect condition.

The item must be returned by the customer (registered mail, postage paid by the customer) to our address: Avenida Independência das Colónias, nº24 1ºB 2900-406 Setúbal.

Any item that is returned to the store, the form of refund to the customer will be in the form of a credit note, if there is no longer another product equal to the one the customer purchased, you can use this credit note on our website or physical store, in any height, with no time limit.

Defective items

All items are checked and properly packaged before being shipped to the customer

Questions related to paint quality, joints, balance, notched packaging or other details about the items, when they are out of the packaging, are not the responsibility of Multiverse Geeks.

Payment methods

Multibanco Reference: Payment is made at an ATM or Homebanking service, through a reference provided at the time of ordering. Payment must be made within 48 hours.

ATM: Payment is made at the time of purchase in person (in store or events) through the application (at no additional cost to the customer).

Credit Card: Associate your credit card with the order placed through our website. To pay, you can simply choose the payment method (credit card) at checkout and confirm your payment.

MB Way: Payment is made through the MB Way application at the time of purchase, there may be an additional commission fee regulated by the customer’s bank, with Multiverse Geeks completing this commission.

Paypal

Payment of articles in installments

You can pay for item(s) in 6 monthly installments for purchases equal to or greater than €100.00.

The first installment will obligatorily be 25% of the total value of the article(s), the rest of the value will be divided by 2 to 5 monthly installments.

This method of payment will not add Interest or Fees to the original value of the item.

The customer will receive his item(s) after the settlement of the total value of the item(s), including the shipping cost (if necessary).

The customer will have 7 months to pay all installments of the value of the item.

If the customer cancels the installments, the deposit amount will not be refunded, as the amount has already been used to guarantee the reservation with our suppliers.

Return costs are at the User’s expense. Multiverse Geeks does not accept any returns sent with postage prepaid or cash on delivery.

The User cannot exercise the right of free termination in the case of manifestly personalized products.

Orders

To place your order, the User must register as a customer by filling out the form available on the website, after joining the desired items to the shopping cart, proceed to check-out, following all the purchase steps that arise until finalizing the order. .

Confirmation of the completion of the order by the User is equivalent to full and complete acceptance of the prices and description of the products available for sale, as well as these General Conditions.

The information contained in the invoice is the sole responsibility of the User, and it cannot be changed after its issuance.

ORDERS FOR PRE-RESERVATION ARTICLES

Pre-reservation of an article is necessary as the production quantity may be limited.

The reservation guarantees the customer their unit before it is sold out.

Items designated for pre-booking must be paid for at time of booking so that they are guaranteed.

You can also contact us by phone or email and only pay 25% when booking and the remaining 75% when the product is available for shipment or collection in our store.

If reservations are sold out at any time and we are not allowed to receive the items ordered from our suppliers, either by cancellation by the manufacturer or by non-delivery from our supplier, the amount paid by the customer will be returned to their bank account.

If the customer cancels the reservation before the item becomes available, the down payment will not be refunded, as the value has already been used to guarantee the reservation with our suppliers.

The dates shown on our website are estimates given by the product’s manufacturers and suppliers, and may in some cases advance or delay the expected date.

Order cancellation

In case of cancellation of the order by the customer, he must contact us by email (encomendas@multiversegeeks.com)

In case of pre-booking, the amount already paid will not be refunded, as it has already been used to guarantee the product with the supplier.

Shipping orders

Multiverse Geeks sells and delivers to Portugal and all European countries.

Without prejudice to the provisions of the previous number, Multiverse Geeks reserves the right not to make sales to some foreign countries, even if they belong to the European continent.

Orders cannot be delivered to PO Boxes.

Multiverse Geeks is committed to delivering orders as soon as possible.

Shipping costs are automatically calculated by weight and quantity of items and placed in the shopping cart (field: Shipping).

The shipment of the order starts after payment confirmation. Shipping can take between 5-7 business days, with exceptions.

The order registration number will be provided, after sending the order, via e-mail or mobile phone message, if the details were provided by the customer when placing the order.

Responsibility

Multiverse Geeks is not responsible for any damage caused to the User by the use of the Internet network and our website, such as: disruption of service, outside intrusion, anomalies caused by computer viruses or any other case of force majeure.

Claims

The User may submit their suggestions or complaints via e-mail (geral@multiversegeeks.com) or via the electronic complaints book.

Applicable law

The law applicable to any contractual relationship established through the Multiverse Geeks website is Portuguese law.

For the resolution of any conflicts arising from the provision of services object of these General Conditions, the jurisdiction of the District of Lisbon will be competent, with express waiver of any other.
